PONTIAC (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is offering a hefty cash reward for information on an arsonist.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, sheriff's officials said, at Trademark Liquor & Check Cashing at 1220 Perry Street on Pontiac.

Arson investigators determined that a man poured an unknown substance onto the floor and used a knit cap he grabbed off the store's counter to ignite it.

The man then ran out of the building, fleeing in the area in a dark-colored four-door Dodge Ram truck.

The Waterford Regional Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire, and no one was injured.
