DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public to identify and locate a pair of suspects in an assault and robbery on the city's east side.
According to investigators, the victim was walking in the area of 8844 Mack Avenue on Saturday, August 5, at around 12:20 p.m., when he was attacked by two unknown suspects.
Police said the suspects "hit the victim in the back of the head with a weapon," and then stole his belongings. They then fled in a light-colored sedan, which was caught on a survelience camera in the area.
The DPD's 7th Precinct released photos of the two suspects and their vehicle, in hopes that someone in the public will recognize them.
