Tony Jones Jr. was one of several training camp darlings for the Saints this year, but he was carted off the field in the first half of a Week 4 matchup with the Giants.
Jones was hurt on a play near midfield in the second quarter and stayed down for several minutes on the field as he was attended to by trainers. He was eventually carted off the field and back to the locker room, with teammates Alvin Kamara, Jameis Winston and Dwayne Washington coming to show support before he was taken off the field.

The injury comes at a position that's already thin, with the Saints only carrying three running backs in Jones, Kamara and Washington. Ty Montgomery could also be an emergency option, though he's a wide receiver in the current offense.
The Saints' drive ended with an Aldrick Rosas miss from 58 yards, and the Giants didn't waste any time capitalizing. New York quarterback Daniel Jones took a shot to speedy John Ross III, who appeared to fumble before crossing the goal line but recovered the ball in the end zone for a 7-0 lead.
