Four of the Saints' veterans combined for three turnovers in the first half against the Ravens, but Tony Jones Jr. had other ideas.

After Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman each fumbled and Taysom Hill threw an interception after Ty Montgomery appeared to stop on his route, the second-year running back out of Notre Dame took the spotlight away from the QB battle.

Jones got his first carry early in the second quarter and immediately sprinted for 28 yards. His next carry came two plays later and went for 17 yards. Jameis Winston completed two passes for 17 yards, but Jones finished it off with a cut to the outside and a dive for the pylon from 18 yards away and the first touchdown of the game.

Jones spent much of his rookie season on the Saints' practice squad but saw action in Week 17 after the entire Saints running back room was held out due to contact tracing. Montgomery shifted back from WR to RB for that game and led the Saints with 105 yards.
