NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police responded to a two-alarm fire early Monday in Brooklyn that killed one person and injured seven others.
At approximately 4:40 a.m., at 1776 Nostrand Avenue, police discovered one man unresponsive.
Seven other people were injured, and taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
One of the victims suffered serious injuried but is expected to survice.
The cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation.
