NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A second visitor to the Empire State Building this week was reportedly arrested for having a gun.
A day after an 18-year-old woman from Wyoming was arrested at the landmark skyscraper, a 22-year-old man from Louisiana was busted in a similar incident Tuesday night, sources told the New York Post.
Gerald Warford was arrested around 8:45 p.m. after a gun was seen in his backpack at a metal detector, the sources said.
It's unclear if he has a license for the gun or will face charges.
On Monday afternoon, 18-year-old Sabrina Allee put a backpack containing an unloaded 9mm Ruger through a screening machine, police said.
She was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to police, who said she has a valid license and permit for the firearm in Wyoming.
