NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 17-year-old girl was among three people taken into custody Sunday after a homeless man was found dead in Queens.
Pawandeep Singh, 27, was found unconscious on the front porch of an abandoned home in Richmond Hill around 9 a.m. Sunday.
EMS rushed to the scene on Lefferts Boulevard, near 95th Boulevard, where they discovered Singh with a head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a 25-year-old man, 22-year-old man and 17-year-old girl were taken into custody Sunday night. Charges against the three of them are pending.
It's unclear if any of them knew Singh.
A medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
