NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested and charged a man with raping a child at a daycare center.
Authorities say Alberto Hernandez, 60, faces 13 charges which include rape, criminal sex act, and predatory sexual assault.
Police say the alleged rapes occurred over a period of four years when the girl was six to ten years old.
According to reports, it happened at the Maria Cortez daycare located on Heath Avenue that Hernandez ran with his wife for the past 25 years.
Police say the child, who is now 13-years-old, came forward on Monday and the arrest was made Wednesday. Hernandez is due in court on Thursday.
