NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 7-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the Bronx Wednesday afternoon, authorities say.
The shooting occurred at about 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 137th Street and St. Ann's Avenue in Mott Haven.
Police are searching for a man who fled on foot, reports PIX11.
The child was transferred to Lincoln Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening and his or her condition is unknown.
