NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Carl’s Jr. will celebrate April 20, the unofficial holiday for cannabis culture, by testing out a CBD-infused burger at one of its Denver locations.
Keeping with the theme of the day, the burger will retail for $4.20.
The burger will be the first CBD-related item sold by a national fast food chain.
The Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight will be composed of two beef patties, pickled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, waffle fries, and of course, approximately five milligrams of CBS extract, worked into the Santa Fe sauce.
The FDA does not currently allow adding CDB to food and beverages, but other products that contain the substance became legal in December.
