HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont reported zero new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, hours after the tristate added 10 new states to its travel advisory.

Forty-one of 5,548 new COVID-19 tests conducted in the state came back positive on Monday, marking a 0.7 percent positivity rate, Lamont said Tuesday. As of Monday evening, 62 people in the state were hospitalized with COVID-19, up by eight from Sunday, he said.

"Thankfully, there are no COVID-related deaths to report," Lamont wrote on Twitter. A total of 4,406 people in Connecticut have died of COVID-19, and a total of 48,096 tests have come back positive.

Connecticut on Tuesday also joined New York and New Jersey in adding 10 states to its list of COVID-19 hotspots from which travelers must self-quarantine for 14 days: Alaska, Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Virginia and Washington.

The tristate removed Minnesota from the list.
