HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut reported one new COVID-19 death on Tuesday, hours after adding two new states to its travel advisory.
The new fatality brought Connecticut's COVID-19 death toll to 4,466, data from the state's health department shows.
Connecticut also reported 127 positive tests out of 19,245 tests performed, for a 0.66 percent positivity rate, Gov. Ned Lamont tweeted.
As of Monday, 56 people in the state were hospitalized with COVID-19, up by four from Sunday, he said.
Earlier on Tuesday, Connecticut joined New York and New Jersey in adding Alaska and Montana to its list of COVID-19 hotspots from which returning travelers must self-quarantine for 14 days.
