It seems the 72-year-old man was lying in the street for several minutes before any 911 calls came in. The driver was long gone.

Sanitation truck driver Jaquon Hopkins Miller saw the man lying in the intersection as people took smartphone video.

"He's laying on the floor and there's about seven people around him, nobody is helping him out," he said. "I stopped the truck, my partner gets out, I call 911."

Cops are reviewing surveillance footage to track down whoever is responsible. There were no eyewitnesses to the accident.
