JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Cops in Jersey City say they've got the guy who was setting fire to parked cars.

"Thanks to the individuals in the neighborhood who saw him, we were able to get him before he did too much damage. Four cars is enough, but he was certainly bent on doing more than that," Jersey City Police Chief Michael Kelly said.
Jersey City police say the man spent his Monday, stuffing burning napkins into car windows and under hoods.
"It looks like the individual was just bent on random destruction," he said.
The Jersey Journal reports, Rashaun Washington, was caught with a bag full of napkins and a lighter.
Police say Washington, a Jersey City resident, has not recently been in custody.
