NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- At least 90 people part of a climate change protest were arrested Monday, the NYPD told 1010 WINS.
Members of extinction Rebellion, a climate change activist group made their way towards Wall Street from Battery Park, where a protester climbed on to the charging bull that had been doused in fake blood and was seen waving a green flag.
Other activists splashed with red dye staged a "die-in" in front of the New York Stock Exchange — lying down as if dead while tourists gawked.
Afterward, a few participants were seen mopping the fake blood off the ground.
Police say that protesters also made their way to the New York Stock Exchange at Exchange Street and Broad Place.
