Man, 51, struck by stray bullet while playing dominoes in Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 51-year-old man playing dominoes was shot outside a building on Sherman Ave. in the Bronx by a stray bullet Wednesday night.

The incident took place at about 7 p.m. Wednesday in Concourse Village.


The victim was struck in the torso but is expected to survive.

Police say he was brought to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects running away from the scene with their guns out.

No arrests have been made.

The man is the 14th person to be unintentionally shot in the city since the beginning of June.
