NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Tuesday of a man wanted in connection to an assault that occurred at a subway station in Queens.

On Dec. 28, just before 8 p.m., inside of the 74th Street - Broadway subway station on the northbound 7 train platform, police say the suspect approached a 54-year-old man and proceeded to punch and kick him in the face.

Officials say the suspect then hopped on the train and fled the station.

EMS took the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst where he was treated for lacerations and bleeding to the face.

Police urge anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
