NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man in Central Park accused to attempting to rob a woman of her Apple AirPods and money, officials said Wednesday.
According to police, when walking in the North Woods of Central Park, 56-year-old Jack Darden approached a 31-year-old woman from behind and removed her AirPods then pressed a sharp object behind her neck.
"Give me all your money," the suspect demanded before fleeing the scene.
Police caught and arrested Darden in the park on East 102nd and East Drive and was charged with robbery.
