NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a suspect who slammed a man to the ground at random in Queens, breaking the victim's neck.

The 49-year-old victim was walking on 74th Street, near Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, last Monday when he was grabbed by another man, police said.

The suspect took the man by the head and slammed him to the ground, breaking his neck, according to police.

The victim was rushed in serious condition to Elmhurst Hospital, where police said he was treated for his injuries.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Wednesday.
