NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 2-year-old boy who was getting his hair cut at a Bronx barbershop was injured when a man came up to the business's window and smashed it with a baseball bat, police said.
The boy was at Osvaldo's Barbershop on West Kingsbridge Road in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx on Jan. 29 when the man came up to the window with a bat.
Police said he swung the bat into the window, causing glass to rain down on the 2-year-old.
The boy suffered multiple cuts to the back of his head, according to police. He was treated for his injuries at Montefiore Hospital.
The suspect took off after smashing the window. The NYPD released surveillance photos of him on Saturday.
Police haven't said what may have motivated him to smash the window.
