NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a woman inside a Bronx apartment on Sunday, officials said.
Officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious woman at approximately 1:38 a.m., inside the 3rd-floor hallway at 2575 Jerome Avenue in the Fordham Manor section.
Upon arrival, police discovered an unconscious and unidentified woman, with a stab wound to the chest.
The victim was later identified at 32-year-old Kemar Soloman.
She was transported by EMS to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The suspect is described as a Black male, last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.
An investigation is ongoing.
