NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man accussed of fatally stabbing a 22-year-old-year old man was stabbed to death by his co-worker at a car dealership in Bronx's Kingsbridge neighborhood Monday.
Authorities charged 53-year-old Jose Almodovar with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
The NYPD said it responded to a 911 call around 4:30 p.m. of an assault in progress at Riverdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at 5869 Broadway.
"Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to the neck," police said in a press release.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital/The Allen Pavilion, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police identified the victim as Brandon Almonte of Yonkers.
The 53-year-old man was taken into custody and a knife was recovered at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
