NYC court officer suspended for allegedly posting lynching images of Obama, Clinton: report

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Brooklyn court officer who allegedly posted “doctored images” showing Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama being lynched has been suspended for 30 days, according to a report.

The court officer, Sgt. Terri Pinto Napolitano, allegedly posted the images to her Facebook page this past weekend, the New York Post reported

A spokesman for the state Office of Court Administration told the outlet that Napolitano was suspended for a month and “had her gun taken away.”

The state court system’s inspector general is also investigating the posts, according to the outlet.

“This conduct is abhorrent, by anyone, at any time, and under any circumstances,” New York Chief Judge Janet DiFiore wrote in a memo to court system employees, the outlet reported.

“We assure you that we have already begun the process and will take every step within our power so that this conduct is condemned and punished appropriately,” she added.
