NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Where do you like to sit on the subway?
That question was posed by a Twitter user on New Year's Eve, who posted a photo of five seats on an older train -- the ones with orange and yellow seats, not light blue. The tweet has since gone viral, racking up 13,600 likes and nearly 2,000 retweets.
In the photo, each seat is numbered one through five, with Twitter user @gplatinum posing the question, "All my New Yorkers, which is the best seat?"
Dutchess County Executive and former GOP gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro, responded on Twitter, writing, "I wouldn't say I'm a subway seat expert - although I wrote one hell of a policy to save the system - I vote: 1 then 5 (at 5' 9" I'd be good)." Translation: Molinaro's top pick is the seat next to the door.

MTA subway chief Andy Byford chose to be neutral, saying, "I don't usually use seats when I ride because they are for customers. As for choosing the best, that's like asking a parent to pick a favorite child. Each one is special in its own way."
