NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials responded to a 311 call of a large crowd at a Brooklyn synagogue Wednesday morning, officials said.

Police responded to the call of social distancing concerns just before 8 a.m. and discovered more than 100 people had gathered at the Cong. Yetev Lev Satmar Ohel Feiga synagogue located at 113 South Eighth Street in Williamsburg.

Officials dispersed the gathering with no summonses issued and no arrests were made.

The Mayor's office confirmed that a cease and desist order will be issued to prevent further gatherings.

On Monday, police shut down a Brooklyn Yeshiva for holding class of over 60 children in defiance of state and city orders related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The yeshiva's operator did not receive a summons, according to police.
