NYPD seeks man who allegedly burglarized multiple Manhattan homes

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who burglarized multiple Manhattan homes.

One of the incidents took place near Lexington Avenue and 30th Street. "The unidentified individual broke into a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry valued at $3,300.00, then departed in an unknown direction," police said in a news release.


The individual is described as a black make, 5'7", and 180 lbs.

Other related similar incidents were reported on the following dates, according to the NYPD:

On Thursday, January 17, 2019 at approximately 1030 hours, in the vicinity of East 39 Street and 2nd Avenue, confines 17th precinct, an unidentified individual broke into a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry before departing to unknown direction

On Monday, January 21, 2019 at approximately 1150 hours, in the vicinity of East 7th Street and 3rd Avenue, confines 13th precinct, an unidentified individual broke into a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry before departing to unknown direction

On Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at approximately 0900 hours in the vicinity of 30 Street and Lexington Avenue confines 17th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry then departed to unknown direction.

On Wednesday, February 06, 2019, at 1030 hours in the vicinity of 18th Street and Lexington Avenue confines 13th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics, jewelry and clothing then departed to unknown direction.

On Friday, February 08, 2019, at 1940 hours in the vicinity of 22nd Street and 2nd Avenue confines 13th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry then departed to unknown direction.

On Friday, February 15, 2019, at 1030 hours in the vicinity of 32th Street and Lexington Avenue confines 17th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry then departed to unknown direction.

On Friday, February 15, 2017, between 0700 hour to 1940 hours in the vicinity of 32th Street and Lexington Avenue confines 17th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics, jewelry and clothing then departed to unknown direction.

On Friday, February 22, 2019, at 1100 hours in the vicinity of 24th Street and 3rd Avenue confines 13th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed electronics and jewelry then departed to unknown direction.

On Friday, February 22, 2019, at approximately 1200 hours in the vicinity of 49th Street and 3rd Avenue confines 17th Precinct, an unidentified individual was confronted by a witness as he tried to enter into a private residence. The individual exited the location to parts unknown. A damaged door was reported.

On Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 0930 hours in the vicinity of 58th Street and 1st.   Avenue confines 17th Precinct, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a private residence and removed jewelry and cash then departed to unknown direction.
