NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two men accused of beating and robbing a man in the Bronx over the weekend.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. on. August 22, as the 39-year-old man walked near the corner of Villa Avenue and East 204 Street in the Jerome Park section.
According to police, two men approached the victim and pushed him to the ground then began punching and kicking him.
One of the suspects struck the man in the face with a firearm and snatched his gold chains, officials said.
The suspects fled on foot in a white vehicle.
EMS transported the victim to SBH Health System – St. Barnabas Hospital for injuries sustained to his head, torso, arms and legs.
