NEWTOWN, Conn. (1010 WINS) – Police say a Connecticut man crashed his SUV while under the influence, then wandered naked into a nearby home.
The homeowners found the naked man walking around their house on Church Hill Road after they returned from shopping, according to The News-Times.
They called police from outside the house and responding officers arrested the man.
Police identified him as 35-year-old Joseph Achenbach. They say he gained access through an unlocked sliding glass door.
Lt. Aaron Bahamonde said he was certain “alcohol and/or drugs played a role in Achenbach’s behavior.”
Achenbach was charged with criminal trespass, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, evading responsibility and driving under the influence.
