NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for two people who beat and kicked a 30-year-old woman until she was unconscious, and then robbed her, authorities say.
The incident happened near 28th Street and Second Avenue in Manhattan.
Police say one of the assailants got into an argument with the woman inside an apartment building, attacked her and took her purse, and then ran off.
The second suspect, they say, dragged the woman into a stairwell before he ran off too.
The woman was taken to a hospital for bruising and swelling to the face.
Police urge anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
