NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gets an 'A' from her constituents.
A new poll from Siena finds the people in Ocasio-Cortez's district think she's doing a good job.
Dr. Don Leavy, directory of the Siena College Research Institute said, "So, this is a poll of the 14th congressional district and clearly voters here have a favorite impression of the representative, plus 19 percent favorability, especially high with Democrats and young people."
Compared to eight high profile politicians, including Gov. Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio, and President Trump, Ocasio-Cortez has the highest net favorability rating.
Sixty-five percent of voters say they've been following her very closely or somewhat closely.
While Ocasio-Cortez calls herself a democratic socialist, it doesn't take one to admire on. Seventy percent of voters in her district call themselves something else.
