NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rep. Jerry Nadler, who represents parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn, was involved in a car accident Tuesday morning on his way to Washington, D.C., for today's Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr, Nadler's office said.

A spokesperson for Nadler said the lawmaker was not driving nor was he hurt. The accident also did not involve another vehicle.

The accident has delayed Nadler’s arrival and the hearing will now begin at 10:45 a.m. instead of 10 a.m.
