
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A security guard chased down a suspected robber at the Gap store at the Fulton Mall in Brooklyn.Police tell the Daily News Brian Colter, 47 swiped approximately $1,300 worth of clothing. After threatening a guard with a razor, Colter attempted to hide in the nearby nearby Jay Street subway station.
The guard alerted Officer Billy Wong and Sergeant Luis Feliciano who ultimately caught Colter along with Officers Jonathan Schwaner and John Quinn.
The suspect was charged with robbery, grand larceny, weapons possession and resisting arrest.
Cops say Colter has 86 prior arrests on his record.
