On Feb. 7, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officials say a 79-year old woman exited her building located near Exterior Street and Broadway, in the Marble Hill section, when she was approached from behind by the suspect.

Authorities say the man was walking a dog when he pushed the victim to the ground and removed her purse.

He proceeded to enter a nearby building and fled in unknown direction with the victim’s personal identifications and bank card officials say.

The victim suffered bruising and pain but refused medical attention at the scene.
