
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a burglar who has targeted at least six homes in Queens during a two-week crime spree.
The suspect is described as a male, Black, 45-50 years-old; last seen wearing a white Kangol hat, plaid shirt and blue jeans. He was seen on video surveillance driving in a maroon Ford Explorer, unknown plate.
Incident #3: It was reported to police that on Friday, March 22, 2019 at some point between 1035 hours and 1600 hours, inside of a residential building also in the vicinity of 76th Street and 20th Avenue, an unknown individual gained entry into the 2nd floor apartment by breaking the lock to the front door causing damage. Once inside, the individual stole a 30-year-old male victim's MacBook Pro, jewelry, clothing and bottles of wine. The total value of what was removed in this incident is $5,540.
Incident #4: It was reported to police that on Friday, March 22, 2019 at some point between 0845 hours and 2000 hours, inside of a residential building in vicinity of 41st Avenue and 22nd Street, an unknown individual gained entry into the second floor apartment by breaking the lock. The 57-year-old female victim came home from work to find the front door ajar and no property was removed.
Incident #5: It was reported to police that on Friday, March 22, 2019 at some point between 0100 hours and 0900 hours, in the vicinity 29th Street and 21st Avenue, an unknown individual gained entry into an attached garage of a residence. The 42-year-old victim returned home to find the lock broken and no property was removed.
Incident #6: It was reported to police that on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at some point after 2100 hours, within the vicinity of 45th Street and 21st Avenue, an unknown individual gained entry into the residence by breaking the lock on the attached garage door. Once inside, the individual stole a bicycle valued at $200.
