NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for the man that stole a woman's car in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, while her 11-year-old son was in the backseat.At approximately 10 a.m. the 44-year-old parked her Toyota RAV4 in front of 2211 86th Street in the Bensonhurst section with the enginge still running.
As she exited the vehicle, a man got in and drove southbound on Bay Parkway with the boy in the rear passenger seat, officials said.The driver allowed the boy to get out of the vehicle at Cropsey Avenue and Bay 32 Avenue, unharmed, accordign to authorites.
He then drove off to parts unknown.Officials say the vehicle's license plate number is: GDM6918.
