NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A New Jersey man whose mother was killed in the World Trade Center attack broke away from the script of reading victims' names at the annual memorial ceremony Tuesday, and took aim at Rep. llhan Omar, who earlier this year said "some people did something," referring to the terrorist attacks.
Nicholas Haros Jr., who lost his mother, Francis Haros, took the stage wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "Some people did something."
"'Some people did something' said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota…Today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom," Haros said. "We know who and what was done, there's no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion?"
He continued, "Our constitutional freedoms were attacked and our nation's founding on Judeo-Christian principles were attacked. That's what some people did — got that now? We are here today, Congresswoman, to tell you and 'the squad' just who did what to whom."
