Video shows De Blasio flapping his arms to R. Kelly's 'I Believe I Can Fly' during a recent visit to a South Carolina church.
Kelly has been accused of sexually abusing a number of underage victims. He faces 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.
Video shared by NY1's Courtney Gross, shows a number of women in the crowd remain seated as the pastor encourages churchgoers to join.
"The Mayor wasn't the church's DJ and he certainly can't be expected to recognize every R. Kelly track," spokesman Eric Phillips told the New York Post.
'I Believe I Can Fly' is one of Kelly's biggest hits. It was featured on the soundtrack to the 1996 movie Space Jam -- which starred Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. The song reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and No. 2 on the Hot 100.
