NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police say a 74-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross a street in Queens.
Just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, officials say J Ok Kang was hit by a 2015 Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound while crossing in front of 141-25 Northern Boulevard in the Flushing section.
EMS transported Kang to New York Presbyterian Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver was a 43 year-old man and remained at the scene.
The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is investigating and so far there have been no arrests made.
