PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Two New men are dead after separate overnight shootings in New Jersey, authorities said.
The first shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday around Colonial Avenue in Paterson. A 29-year-old man was shot and taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Less than six hours later, another shooting occurred in Paterson. Officers responded to a report of a shooting around North Main Street and Haledon Avenue around 4 a.m. where they found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound, cops said.
The victim was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
No arrests have been made yet in either shooting as of Sunday afternoon and the investigations remain ongoing.
