LOPATCONG, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Burglars stole three 36 guns from a gun shop in Lopatcong on late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Someone kicked in the door at the Tech Ops International gun store on South Fifth Street, right off the Memorial Parkway, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., officials said.
The three dozen stolen 9mm handguns are worth about $36,000 wholesale or $70,000 retail, according to authorities.
An employee at a nearby Speedway convenience store noticed the open door at the store Wednesday morning and called the police.
The Newark branch of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are working with the prosecutor’s office to further investigate the burglary.
