WATERBURY, CT (1010 WINS) — Police have identified a person of interest in the fatal shooting of an Olympian's mother Saturday in Connecticut.

The suspect, 34-year-old Levi Brock of New Haven, is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of 56-year-old Mabel Martinez Antongiorgi who was struck in the head by a stray bullet while sewing in her Waterbury home.
Antongiorgi was the mother of 27-year-old rifle shooter Yarimar Mercado Martinez who is part of the Puerto Rican Olympic team.

On Tuesday, Waterbury Police Chief Fernando Spagnolo told reporters Antongiorgi was not the intended target in the drug-related shooting.
The shooting occurred outside of Antongiorgi’s home where at least 23 bullets were exchanged between a white Acura and a black Honda.
One bullet hit another victim, 35-year-old Ryan Lindsay, and struck him in the hip. Lindsay survived and was later questioned by detectives who learned the shooting was a drug-related dispute.

Investigators later located the driver of the Acura, 22-year-old Angel Gonzalez, and interviewed him, according to Spagnolo.
The driver of the Honda, which was later seized in New Haven, was identified as Brock. Police found a handgun in the car which is being tested to see if it was involved in the shooting.

Brock has a long rap sheet which includes several prior felony convictions for crimes like reckless endangerment and drug charges. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for felony assault in 2011 with nine years in prison, police told The New York Post.
Gonzalez is also considered a person of interest but is cooperating with authorities, as is Lindsay.
