CAMDEN, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A man who worked for the New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Permanency has been sentenced to nearly 21 years in prison for producing child pornography, prosecutors say.

A judge handed down a 250-month sentence to Atlantic County resident Kayan Frazier, 29, on Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey said in a press release.

Frazier was employed as a case worker with the child welfare department when law enforcement officers discovered he had posted images of child sexual abuse to Tumblr, prosecutors said.

When officials searched his home in April 2019, they found an underage boy inside, according to prosecutors.

They also found thousands of images of child sexual abuse on Frazier's phone and electronics, including photos Frazier had taken of the boy inside the apartment, the attorney's office said.

Frazier, who pleaded guilty to the charges in February, will be permanently supervised after he is released from prison, according to the attorney's office.
