NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man sexually abused three young girls while his wife was caring for them inside their home, police said Wednesday.
Angel Tacuri, 52, of Patchogue, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, one count of first-degree sexual abuse and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.
Police say Tacuri sexually abused three girls between the ages of three and eight on separate occasions between 2010 and 2015.
The girls were in the care of Tacuri's wife, a child care provider, at the time, police said.
The new allegations of abuse came to light after Tacuri was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual act and first-degree sexual abuse this past January, according to police.
At that time, Tacuri was accused of sexually abusing a then-7-year-old girl back in 2010, police said.
The Long Island resident is expected to appear in court on Thursday, according to police. His attorney information wasn't immediately available Wednesday.
