NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after one man was killed and another hospitalized following a random broad-daylight stabbing in the Bronx on Wednesday.
At approximately 3:34 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of two men assaulted near Davidson Avenue and West Tremont Avenue Morris Heights, authorities said.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest and a 33-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
Police said the attacker was walking along Davidson Avenue when he got into an argument with the victims and pulled out an unknown object from his pocket and stabbed them both.
EMS rushed both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital where the 32-year-old victim, identified as Rashaun Shettlewood died. The second victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
