NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a man was killed and another wounded in a Brooklyn shooting Thursday evening, authorities said.
According to officials, the shooting happened at about 5:30 p.m. near 1556 Sterling Place in Crown Heights, officials said.
Responding officers discovered a 26-year-old man that had been shot in the chest. He was transported to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to the same hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
