NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating a Bronx shooting that killed one man and left another in critical condition Sunday night.
Just after 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of two men shot in front of 2105 Monterey Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers observed 37-year-old Erik J. Hernandez of White Plains with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS rushed both victims to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the 37-year-old man was pronounced dead and the 31-year-old man remains in critical condition.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
