1 teen killed, 2 wounded in Brooklyn triple shooting

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – One teen was killed and two more were wounded in a triple shooting in Brooklyn on Saturday morning, police said.

The 17-year-old boy and the two other teens were shot as they walked on E. 82nd Street, near Farragut Road, in Canarsie around 10:15 a.m., according to police.

A man got out of a silver sedan and fired multiple shots at the teens, striking the 17-year-old in the chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the face and a 19-year-old man was shot in the legs, police said.

The 18-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, while the 19-year-old arrived at the same hospital by private means, according to police.

After shooting the teens, the gunman got back into the sedan and fled eastbound on Farragut Road, police said.

No arrests have been reported. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
