10 hospitalized in Queens after reports of carbon monoxide poisoning

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Ten people were hospitalized after reports of carbon monoxide poisoning from a malfunctioning boiler in Queens on Monday morning, authorities said.

Just after 9 a.m., emergency responders were called to on the scene near 88-03 91st Ave. in Woodhaven.

National Grid and the Department of Buildings were also called to the scene.

The victims were taken to Nassau County Medical Center to be treated. Their condition are unknown.
