NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- To help tell the story of 9/11 as it happened, 1010 WINS has made available 24 hours of archival audio from Sept. 11 and Sept. 12, 2001. The broadcast captures in real-time how the day unfolded and the city learned what was happening.
It all started shortly after 8:46 a.m., when morning drive anchor Lee Harris broke the news: “A plane has crashed into the World Trade Center.”
