NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a teenage boy wounded in the arm in the Bronx, officials said.
The 16-year-old victim was struck just after 1 a.m. on Belmont Avenue, near East 187th Street, in the Belmont section, authorities said.
The teen was rushed to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
The gunman fled the scene before in an unknown direction.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
